The editor of education hub SmartBean recently visited our school to do a piece on our establishment and the work we do – many thanks to SmartBean for a well-written and well-researched article!

Welcome to the SIL Education Blog!

The SIL Education Blog is now live! It’s our new way of sharing resources and information with our fellow teachers, students, parents, and anybody else that might be interested in what the SIL community is learning about.
Outside of the ubiquitous Wikipedia, there’s a ton of other great educational resources out there – whether its a demonstration of standing waves on a Chladni Plate from YouTube, a cartoon about the effects of addictive substances by the University of Utah, or an inspirational story of a teenage headmaster in West Bengal by the BBC – there’s just so much media and information on the internet that sometimes the best material gets passed over. There’s no way we’re going to find everything, but the hope is that once in a while, we’ll find something really great that brightens up a class, provides a new perspective on an old discussion, or maybe even some never-before-seen footage with David Attenborough (yea right).
So welcome to our blog – we hope you enjoy it!
